Hi, my name is Lyn.

I was an all-in Christian in my 20s, volunteering as a Bible teacher in a missionary organization overseas. This aspect of my life changed in my 30s and I no longer think the term “Christian” is the most accurate label for me. This journey has been unexpected and very confusing.

I am also gay. Unlike my beliefs, this has not changed in my 30s. What has changed is a more holistic acceptance of that queer part of myself. This queer journey in my 30s has also been unexpected and very confusing.

This blog is a place for my musings as I deconstruct and reconstruct in a world that doesn’t promise easy answers.
